Akron Town Marshal Tim Fleck was laid to rest today in grand fashion. Though a small town police officer, he was known for his big heart and a smile to match.
Fleck, 49, reportedly suffered a heart attack and passed away unexpectedly late Wednesday night.
He is being remembered for his kindness and his desire to help others.
Fleck’s outreach for the community he proudly served extended beyond the badge. He was a member of the Henry Township Advisory Board, a member of the Fulton County and Indiana Fraternal Order of Police and was a former member of the Henry Township Fire Department.
The community decorated Fleck’s patrol vehicle with flowers and other tokens of their sorrow. The vehicle is on display today.
